Beginning an “experience” (Arash Dibazar) at IMC has been one of the most beneficial and paramount decisions of my life thus far. Aside from the intense work outs and instructional conversations regarding nutrition that I have endured, the inspirational atmosphere created by the instructors and community at IMC has given me the opportunity to view life in a different light.

Prior to IMC, my daily attire consisted of baggy sweats and a sweat shirt because it was the simplest way to hide my biggest issue: my body. In fact, friends at school would try and guess how many days I could go with out wearing sweats. After my first kickboxing class, I was assured that my senior year of high school would not be completed in sweats.

From the get go,  I was hooked. Physically, my body was changing by the day, and mentally, my mind was opening to new ideas that quelled past anxieties and restrictions. The messages conveyed through Arash and Electra regarding possibilities and life entirely are ones that can not be mimicked or fabricated in any other sense; sincerity and genuineness power the acts that occur within the facility and motivation and inspiration are the results.

Kickboxing and Pilates was working wonders for me, yet I wanted more. Recognizing that I could handle the rigor and realizing that I wanted to be on the next level, I was given the opportunity to try Fit and Lean. Once again, after the first class, I was addicted. Through the ten week program, I lost 30 inches, give or take, and gained and immense amount of confidence. On the roughest days when working out seemed unbearable, the support immediately demonstrated by the other girls in the class as well as Electra served as enough energy to pick myself up.

I have always been an athlete, however participating in sports never sufficed for my desire to be comfortable in my own skin. IMC as a corporation stresses the fact that anything can be attained by ones self determination; if there are rules you can’t follow, break them, if you don’t like something, change it, and if you want something, get it.

“You will never have to work a day in your life as long as you are doing something you love.” Through IMC, you grow to love what you do, and working out will hardly ever seem like “work” again- not only do you gain a healthy life, but a passionate one.
